EtonHouse VP at Better Angels Documentary Premiere
On Saturday, November 24th, Better Angels premiered in Beijing China. Following the premiere was a panel discussion with Memo Mata, Malcolm Clarke, Yi Han, and William Mundell. The panel discussed the relationship between the USA and China as well as how to educate the students of today for this cooperation in the future. The event had 600 people in attendance which included US Ambassador Terry Branstad as well as many influential politicians and journalists from around the world.
The documentary particularly focuses on EtonHouse International School Vice Principal, Memo Mata, as a metaphoric representation of the US and China’s relationship as it explores his work with international education, American football and his bicultural family life.
It’s been a woderful day at the Better Angels premiere. It was an honor to share with Amazing people the stage and discussion over building better understanding and friendships between China and America and the role of international Education plays in that. Thank you to the US ambassador and his wife for coming and joining our conversation. Thanks to William Mundell for beginning this discussion. I was honored to finish off the night with my dear friends, 2 time Oscar winning director Malcolm Clarke and award winning producer Yi Han. Tonight was a wonderful beginning to strengthen US and Chinese understanding of each other.
